About the role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Engineer to join the dynamic team at WGT EHR Pte. Ltd. in the West Region. As a Building Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the company's facilities and building systems. What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment
  • Identify and resolve issues with building systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of third-party contractors and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery
  • Analyse building performance data and implement energy-saving initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth and development plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of building assets
  • Provide technical guidance and training to facility staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Building Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the commercial or industrial sector
  • Thorough understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability best practices
  • Proficient in the use of building management systems and energy monitoring tools
