What the Role Is

Be the source of courage, command, and control. As a SCDF Fire and Rescue Senior Officer, you will be professionally trained to be in control of challenging rescue incidents, and battling fire, chemical, biological, and radiological threats with innovative and cutting-edge technology. You will be involved in policy development and implementation to keep Singapore a safe and emergency ready nation.

We believe in grooming our officers as leaders. Through our talent management programme, you will embark on diverse foundational postings before specializing in their unique career pathways.

Mentorships, varied job exposure, and opportunities to participate in overseas missions and international learning exchanges will help to nurture your strengths and prime you for real-life challenges.

Upon joining SCDF, you can look forward to securing stable full-time employment with an enticing remuneration package. Candidates can stand to earn between $5,620 to $6,868, inclusive of monthly frontline allowances.

What we are looking for

To qualify for direct entry as a Lieutenant, you must meet the following requirements:-

• A Degree in any discipline
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Male applicants must be PES B2 and above
• Minimum 'Pass' for IPPT

Sign On Bonus

As a successful applicant, you will receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus (subject to eligibility) upon emplacement.
