AV Executive

Reporting to the Director of Banquet Operations, the incumbent will be responsible to:-
- Handle the day-to-day setting up of audio visual and media. equipment according to the operations requirements.
- Conduct routine checks on all equipment in the function rooms prior to the events.
- Ensure that all equipment are tested and in good operating condition at all times.
- Ensure successful execution of event presentations and maintain guests' satisfaction.
- Work hand in hand with the Banquet Operations and various departments in day to day operations.
- To carry out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of all operating equipment
- Set necessary equipment in function rooms, including outdoor catering events; as directed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- To assist guests in the setup and dismantling of any AV equipment brought in for the event.
- Assist as required with any other related task assigned by event in-charge.
- Adhere standard operating procedures/guideline and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
Requirements
- At least 1 - 2 years of working experience in the Hotel industry.
- Has technical knowledge on setting up of all audio visual. requirements and be well-equipped on modern technologies of audio visual equipment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills would be an advantage.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Willing to work on Public Holidays / Weekends
