Initiative Manager – IB APAC Change

Your role

Do you know how to drive the business management change process such as business growth and strategic change, regulatory/policy/remediation driven change initiatives? Are you able to make sure project implementation run smoothly? We're looking for someone like that to:

• support and facilitate the implementation of the change projects and related activities, and partner with the Investment Bank COO APAC team to drive change for IB business

• execute IB COO priorities around the execution of change initiatives

• outline project scope, objective, track actions to ensure timely project implementation

• coordinate and work in partnership with logistics and control functions to ensure they contribute to project delivery to support the business change agenda

• identify risk issues, dependencies and effectively drive resolutions to not compromise project delivery

• track and prepare project status updates for Management and various stakeholders as well as internal governance forums and external industry forums and Regulators

• maintain project documentation for smooth transition to run the bank after project completion

APAC COO Change is part of the APAC Investment Bank within the APAC IB Chief Operating Office. You'll be working in Singapore. The team is responsible for implementing cross-department regional change programs, ensuring strong governance and developing a solid understanding of the subject matter.

Your expertise

• strong analytical skills

• strong communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills and are comfortable with liaising with colleagues at all levels as well as with local regulators and local industry associations

• ability to build effective, responsive and positive relationships with multi-functional and cross-geographical colleagues

• a flexible can-do attitude and can adapt to changes in the role

• able to lead or follow as situations require and can work under ambitious deadlines

• a creative problem solver, with the ability to evaluate new ideas and can challenge the status quo

• a self-starter – capable of setting and working to your own targets

• organized and can manage tasks across multiple projects

• pro-active and able to work under pressure

• proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) to support Greater China stakeholders

• Strong data analyticcal skilll using Excel / Power BI
