About the role

As a Construction Supervisor at SINGAPORE JINGGONG STEEL STRUCTURE PTE.LTD', you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the construction activities on-site. This full-time position is based in the Tuas West Region of Singapore, where you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and managing construction crews to ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Coordinating the activities of various trade workers, such as carpenters, masons, and electricians, to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery
  • Monitoring and inspecting construction progress to identify and address any issues or deviations from plans
  • Communicating with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address any concerns
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Providing guidance and training to construction workers to improve their skills and productivity
  • Maintaining accurate records of project activities, labour, and material usage

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges on-site
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities to effectively coordinate and motivate construction crews
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Knowledge of relevant construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures
