About the role

As a Tunnel Supervisor at GAMUDA BERHAD SINGAPORE BRANCH, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the tunneling project in the West Coast West Region. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency and quality. You will be a key member of the construction team, leveraging your extensive experience in the industry to guide and direct the workforce.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise ground improvement site setup along the tunnel alignment
  2. Take on surface foremen role during tunneling works
  3. Monitor daily site works, update daily progress compliance with requirements
  4. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protocols
  5. Assist in site inspection, permit to work and site coordination with subcontractor.
  6. Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
  7. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the project
  8. Other ad hoc duties assigned by the superior.

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience in supervisory role within the construction industry, specifically in tunnel projects
  2. Strong technical knowledge of tunnel construction techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  4. Relevant certifications (BCSS in Tunnelling, Confined Space, etc)
