FairPrice Group is seeking​​ a dependent, results-driven and detail-oriented Delivery Support and Operational Mgr to oversee the ongoing delivery and operational stability of our front office solutions, primary pos platforms and store applications. This role is critical to ensuring the existing systems run smoothly, incidents and changes are managed effectively, and continuous improvements are implemented to strengthen platform reliability. 

Job Purpose

Serving as a key member of the Delivery Governance team, this role acts as a trusted deputy supporting portfolio-level governance while driving day-to-day operational excellence, vendor management, and team development.

Responsibilities

●       Take ownership of delivery support activities for the POS and store platform to ensure uninterrupted service and timely resolution of issues.

●       Monitor and improve the effectiveness of current operational processes, workflows, and incident management practices.

●       Collaborate closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance with service levels and delivery commitments.

●       Lead efforts to enhance platform stability and introduce improvements that reduce risk and improve operational performance.

●       Provide backup support to the Delivery Governance Lead on portfolio-level governance and reporting as needed.

●       Identify skills gaps within the delivery and support teams and coordinate upskilling or knowledge transfer initiatives.

●       Facilitate smooth handover and knowledge sharing across teams to build a resilient and capable delivery function.

●       Support ongoing change delivery related to POS enhancements, ensuring effective governance and quality controls.

●       Maintain regular reporting on delivery health, incidents, and improvement initiatives for senior management visibility.

Job Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

● Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related technical fields or any other related profession.

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

●       Minimum 10+ years' experience in IT delivery, operations, or governance roles with a focus on system support and ongoing platform delivery.

●       Solid understanding of POS systems and retail technology environments preferred

●       Experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to SLAs

●       Strong process orientation with demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements

●       Familiarity with incident management, change management, and delivery governance best practices
