About the role

Gecko Labs Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our funds management operations, conducting in-depth market research, financial analysis, and making informed investment recommendations. This is a full-time position based in the Central Region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities across various asset classes
  2. Performing detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis on potential investment targets
  3. Preparing investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for the investment committee
  4. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the company's investment portfolio
  5. Collaborating with the portfolio management team to implement investment strategies
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Investment Analyst or in a similar role within the funds management industry
  2. Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis
  3. Strong understanding of the Banking & Financial Services sector, particularly in Funds Management
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  5. Proficient in using financial software and databases, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Thomson Reuters
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey investment insights
  7. Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
