As the General Counsel Asia Pacific you will lead a team of lawyers supporting the company's Asia Pacific Hub with a focus on regulatory compliance, governance and entity management as well as customer/government relationships and risk/crisis management. You will report directly to the SE Group General Counsel. You will effectively manage the resources allocated to this team, presently consisting of 6 colleagues across the Asia region. You will be responsible for the professional development of the team members with the goal to achieve the highest levels for expertise. In addition, you will be the trusted advisor and legal business partner for the Hub management team and employees. You will need to ensure the team follows the business strategies as set by the Hub management and effectively communicates with the decision makers. This involves a focus on setup optimization and entity management, government affairs and customer care, country strategy, local talent development and statutory and governance duty as well as risk and crisis management.

- Leading and developing the SE LC AP team.
- Fostering good cooperation and information exchange with the Asia Business Area legal teams and the global Legal and Compliance community.
- Fostering an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency and "speak up".
- Managing the work allocation within SE LC AP.
- Managing and being accountable for the performance of SE LC AP.
- Holds a degree in Law, with experience providing legal and strategic counsel in multinational organizations, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Proven experience as a trusted advisor to management, with a strong track record of at least 5 years of leadership experience, team development, and motivation.
- Demonstrates and fosters the leadership essentials of Siemens Energy, including embracing and successfully leading organizational transformation and change.
- Excellent communication skills, with intercultural sensitivity and competence, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix structure.
- Strong time management skills, flexibility, and a high level of motivation to work collaboratively in an international team environment.
- Exhibits a winning attitude and fosters a positive, success-oriented team spirit.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
