Job Title: Regional Counsel, Asia Pacific Job Location: Singapore BTC Posting Start Date: 10/6/25Job Description: Position Summary: Reporting to the Deputy Regional Head Counsel, Asia Pacific, as part of Infineum's commercial legal function within the AP region. Provide professional, pro-active advice and support to all Infineum affiliates across AP on a wide range of commercial and strategic legal issues. In addition, there will be opportunities to work cross-regionally to support the legal function and business in other regions, and to support new business ventures that may be global in nature. Support the business strategy and operations, while acting as a trusted professional and value-adding business partner. Provide cross-functional legal support in compliance with laws and regulations, company policies and industry standards, including but not limited to competition law, anti-bribery, and international trade. Prepare, review and negotiate all types of contracts and other legally relevant documents, including relevant standards, templates and policies. Support the AP legal function in the management of legal matters across the AP region, including corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters for AP entities, and claims and dispute resolution. Instruct, manage and work with external lawyers and other legal consultants as necessary. Monitor legislation within the AP region that could affect Infineum's operations and business, and propose/implement relevant actions and policies to ensure compliance. Provide in-house training on various legal and compliance issues. Involvement in a range of in-house departmental and corporate initiatives/activities. A successful candidate will have: Qualified as a lawyer in Singapore or other similar common law jurisdiction, or is a qualified lawyer in his/her home country who is experienced and knowledgeable working in a common law jurisdiction. Fluency in written and spoken English; Mandarin language capability (speak/read/write) is advantageous particularly for engaging with stakeholders in China. Demonstrated experience in Chinese legal practice and familiarity with Chinese laws and regulatory frameworks is highly valued. Approximately 3-6 years PQE, including proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment. Ideally with a mix of in-house and private practice experience; chemical industry experience a plus. Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with legal and commercial colleagues and to thrive in the cultural diversity of a global business. Excellent communication, presentation, drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to manage mulitple priorities and a dynamic workload. In-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organizations, with ability to analyse business requirements from a legal perspective and transform into practical, timely and value-added actions and guidelines. Strong commitment to professional ethics, integrity and gravitas. Ability to apply high ethical standards and protect the higher interests of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels within the business. Strong analytical abilities, judgment and attention to detail. Self-driven, motivated, assertive, persistent and pragmatic. Well-versed in how businesses operate with financial acumen. Ability and willingness to travel.
