Civil QS cum Drafter (Strictly Minimum 3-5 in Singapore Local Experience)

We are hiring a skilled Civil Quantity Surveyor cum Drafter to join our team in Singapore. This is a full-time role with a competitive monthly salary of SGD $3,200 – $4,500. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both quantity surveying and drafting, including preparing detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and handling authority submission documentation. Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform quantity surveying tasks: quantity take-offs, cost estimation, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and management of progress claims and variations.
  • Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and documentation for authority submissions in line with project and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules/timelines to ensure timely project delivery and resource planning.
  • Conduct on-site measurements and inspections to verify work progress and quantities for reporting and claims.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design intent and quantity requirements are met on site.
  • Ensure all drawings and works comply with Singapore's building codes and local material specifications, addressing any compliance issues promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore (strict requirement – non-negotiable).
  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and standard quantity surveying software tools.
  • Hands-on experience with structural projects (reinforced concrete and steel), as well as architectural, interior design (ID), and infrastructure project scopes.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore construction codes, regulations, and local material specifications.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with site teams, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ability to prepare detailed project schedules and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous and organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray) is an advantage.
