The role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter cum Coordinator to join our talented team at PQ Builders Pte Ltd. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality drafting and coordinating services to support the delivery of complex construction projects within the West Region.

Key responsibilities

  1. Prepare and produce detailed architectural drawings, models and design documentation to support the planning and construction of new buildings and renovations
  2. Coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design elements and timely progression of work
  3. Assist in the review and approval of shop drawings, samples and submittals from vendors and subcontractors
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all design and construction activities
  5. Collaborate with the design team to identify and resolve design issues and incorporate client feedback
  6. Support the continuous improvement of drafting standards, processes and tools within the organisation

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline
  2. Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Architectural Drafter or Coordinator, preferably within the construction industry with experience in MRT station architectural trades
  3. Proficient in using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) and other design-related tools
  4. Strong technical understanding of building materials, construction methods and design principles
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  6. Highly organised and able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  7. A keen eye for detail and a solution-oriented mindset
