Job Title: Industrial Automation Solutions Consultant

You'll make a difference by:

  • Becoming a Trusted Partner: Working with the sales team to identify opportunities and deeply understand clients' operational challenges in automation, strategic goals, and current industrial automation technology systems.
  • Sharping Strategic Solutions: Creating comprehensive solutions by integrating our software, including tools for predictive maintenance, process simulation, AI-powered analytics, and real-time performance monitoring.
  • Showcasing Solution Value and ROI: Delivering engaging technical presentations and software demonstrations to various audiences, explaining how our solutions address specific customer needs.
  • Engaging Stakeholders: You will work with diverse stakeholders, from plant managers to executive leadership, to ensure our solutions align with their strategic objectives. You'll also work cross-functionally with our internal teams—sales, product management, and engineering—to ensure seamless project delivery and customer success.
  • Staying Current with Technology: Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in industrial automation, AI, IoT, and smart manufacturing.

Your defining qualities:

  • Client-Facing Experience: 6-10 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as a solutions Consultant or a Client Success Manager within industrial or manufacturing software, where you successfully managed strategic client relationships and drove business outcomes.
  • Consultative Approach: You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to listen to client needs and translate them into actionable, value-driven solutions.
  • Exceptional Communication: You can present complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, with a focus on business impact rather than just technical details.
  • Business Acumen: You have a strong understanding of Industrial Automation manufacturing operations and how different technologies can be strategically combined to solve complex business problems.
  • Functional Knowledge: You have a solid grasp of industrial software for areas like predictive maintenance, process simulation, industrial AI/Machine Learning, or IoT platforms.
  • Relevant Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, but your real-world experience and demonstrable success in a client-facing role are what matter most.
