Job Summary

  • Being a multi tasks skill (senior) staff responsible for managing a complex and high demanding customer portfolios and their sophisticated trade products and process.
  • Being trade product process specialist responsible for end-to-end trade transactions processing as well as providing high quality customer services.
  • Being qualified and ready to be the 2nd LC documents checker and capable to take up a dual maker and checker role in processing transactions.
  • Being ready to independently or jointly lead and implement a ITS project as well as other ad hoc tasks assigned by HOD.

Job Description

  • Prioritize the client requirement and plan daily tasks to skilfully manage client expectation and workload based on client priorities to deliver high quality, efficient and effective customer services
  • Adequately capture data, process and execute complex trade finance transactions including LC, SBLC, Guarantee, Collection, Bills discounting, Trade loan and their derivatives products, strictly adhering to the internal SOP, Compliance guideline and other Rabobank internal policy and external ICC rules as well as Singapore regulations
  • Depends on clients credit facility structure, to match the import LC application against export LC in terms of a back-to-back transaction or to control export LC against import LC in terms of a front-to-back transaction. Meanwhile, to identify and advise clients, C&CM and RMs the variances and their related miss-match risk
  • Ensure accurate LC documents checking, particularly for confirmed LC, back-to-back, front-to-back and other structured LC products. Effectively liaise with customers for rectification of discrepancies found in documents.
  • Ensure operational risk awareness and mitigating operational risk in processing transactions, performing Compliance sanction screening, trade fraud and money laundry risk control
  • Ensure timely monitoring daily past due transactions reports and monitoring outgoing due payment and incoming funds to settle all trade products payment as per their maturity dates
  • Ensure to maintain daily client contact (acting as the first point of contact) and ensure a good collaboration and communication with other ITS team members and ITS stakeholders including TCF RM's, C&CM, Compliance, etc. to ensure a seamless end to end process and risk control
  • Ensure to be a qualified mentor in training and guiding new or junior staff
