Job Title: Operations Analyst

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly analytical and strategic Operations Analyst to drive business growth and optimization in our restaurant operations. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement process enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Insights:

  2. Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources, including POS systems, inventory management software, and customer feedback platforms.

  3. Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

  4. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress towards goals.

  5. Process Improvement and Optimization:

  6. Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance customer experience.

  7. Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and develop recommendations for improvement.

  8. Implement and track the effectiveness of process changes and provide feedback to stakeholders.

  9. Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  10. Support senior leadership in developing strategic plans and business cases for new initiatives and projects.

  11. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to inform business decisions.

  12. Develop financial models and forecasts to evaluate the impact of business decisions on revenue, profitability, and growth.

  13. Collaboration and Communication:

  14. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to drive business outcomes and achieve goals.

  15. Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards.

  16. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

  2. Experience: 1+ years of experience in data analysis, operations research, or a related field, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

  3. Skills:

  4. Advanced data analysis and statistical skills (e.g., regression, forecasting, data mining).

  5. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

  6. Strong business acumen and understanding of financial modeling and forecasting.

  7. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  8. Certifications: Certification in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field is a plus.
