My client is a reputable global hedge fund currently seeking a Senior Fund Operations professional to join its expanding team in Singapore. The role will be responsible for overseeing fund settlement and reconciliation processes. This is a valuable opportunity to be part of the firm as it continues to grow and strengthen its presence in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily operations for multiple funds, including processing investor subscriptions and redemptions, managing account openings and exchange memberships, and ensuring timely payments and documentation.
  • Oversee US equities trade settlement, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation among portfolio managers, prime brokers, and internal systems.
  • Review Net Asset Value (NAV) reports prepared by fund administrators, and support annual fund audits and regulatory declarations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key partners such as brokers, fund administrators, and service providers, serving as the primary contact for both external queries and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in fund operations or a related function within asset management or hedge funds.
  • Hands-on experience with US equity settlement and reconciliation, with familiarity in DTCC processes, brokers, and post-trade workflows.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and strong knowledge of financial statements.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across stakeholders.
