This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
The PositionRoche APAC Foundational Products Squad Internship ProgramAbout the APAC Foundational Products Squad (FPS)
The APAC Foundational Products Squad (FPS) is a regional team that connects and empowers Roche affiliates across Asia-Pacific — from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Taiwan, and beyond.
Our mission is to unlock the full potential of Roche's late life-cycle and established medicines, ensuring that they continue to deliver impact for patients, healthcare systems, and communities. While affiliates focus on early life-cycle innovations, the FPS enables affiliates to gain a competitive advantage for established medicines — driving access, relevance, and sustainability in diverse and evolving healthcare landscapes.
Working in FPS means being part of an agile, cross-functional squad model. We collaborate across markets and with regional/global partners to:
Innovate with purpose, experimenting with digital tools, AI, and new ways of engagement.
Drive operational excellence, ensuring the squad can operate independently with high efficiency with the insights, tools, and processes they need.
Deliver on business leveraging new Go to Market model
For this internship, FPS offers a rare opportunity to work regionally, gain exposure to multiple healthcare systems, and see how insights and innovations scale across countries. Every project you take on will connect directly to real-world impact for patients in Asia-Pacific.
These internship roles are based in Roche Singapore Pte Ltd. supporting both the APAC Foundational Products Squad and Roche Singapore Pharma affiliate.
Communications & Engagement Intern
About the Role:
As our Communications & Engagement Intern, you'll play a dual role:
For APAC FPS: amplify awareness of how Roche is innovating through its squad model, build narratives that attract talent, and help create a movement that inspires collaboration across the region.
For Roche Singapore Pharma: gain hands-on experience in the full spectrum of corporate communications, supporting patient engagement campaigns, internal initiatives, and external media activities.
This is a hands-on role where you'll experience the breadth of communications in a fast-paced corporate healthcare environment. You'll work closely with the Pharma Singapore affiliate Public Affairs & Communications Lead and the regional FPS leadership team., supporting projects that reach internal and external audiences — including those focused on patient engagement.
What You'll Do:
APAC Foundational Products Squad (FPS) – Regional Focus
Storytelling & Branding: Craft compelling narratives and materials that highlight FPS innovation, impact, and purpose to external audiences.
Talent Branding: Contribute to campaigns that position Roche FPS as an attractive place for top talent, building awareness of our squad model across APAC.
Movement-Building: Support the design of external-facing communications (social posts, blogs, visual storytelling) that create visibility for FPS in the healthcare ecosystem.
Innovation in Communication: Experiment with new formats — videos, podcasts, infographics — to tell the FPS story in engaging ways.
Roche Singapore Pharma – Local Affiliate Focus
Content Creation: Draft and schedule content for internal and external channels, including Roche's corporate channels and platforms such as LinkedIn.
Patient Engagement Support: Assist in developing communications campaigns and assets that support patient engagement initiatives, working with Disease Area teams.
Internal Engagement: Support employee engagement programs and internal campaigns that bring Roche's purpose and culture to life.
Media & Communications Support: Assist with media queries, outreach, briefing documents, and event communications.
Administrative & Logistical Support: Help prepare materials, organize communications assets, and coordinate with internal and external partners for smooth execution of campaigns
What You'll Gain
Exposure to both regional and affiliate-level communications, giving you a holistic view of how corporate communications works in a multinational healthcare company.
Hands-on experience in storytelling, patient engagement, internal culture-building, and media outreach.
Mentorship from experienced leaders in Public Affairs & Communications, plus visibility to FPS leadership.
An opportunity to see your work influence both Roche's external reputation and internal engagement across Asia-Pacific.
Who We're Looking For
3rd or 4th year student in Communications, Marketing, Media, Public Relations, or related fields.
Strong interest in corporate communications, healthcare storytelling, and social media strategy.
