JOB SUMMARY:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic sourcing company as (Senior) Merchandiser for Toys. Reporting to a Sourcing Manager, you will partner with suppliers, manage product development and operations, negotiate terms, ensure timely deliveries, and drive success in U.S. retail categories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and collaborate with suppliers to develop products that meet procurement team specifications and objectives, focusing on and sporting goods.
• Oversee daily operations including supplier management, product advancement, pricing evaluations, prototype approvals, and order tracking to ensure on-time execution.
• Negotiate trade terms, establish vendor partnerships, manage critical project timelines, and monitor performance metrics through KPIs.
• Communicate routinely with buyers and suppliers to align on schedules and resolve issues, while coordinating with quality assurance, logistics, and packaging teams.
• Foster strong vendor relationships and drive supply chain efficiency to deliver programs successfully in a dynamic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree holder with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in toys; candidates with sporting goods experience are also welcomed.
• Experience in U.S. retail/sourcing is a must.
• Understanding of manufacturing in China, SEA, India, Pakistan, and U.S. regulatory standards is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
