Responsibilities

  • Support our general insurance/reinsurance underwriting team to assess risks and determine the coverage position
  • Provide preliminary evaluations to the underwriting team on new business opportunities and renewals
  • First point of contact for assigned clients (cedants) and business partners/intermediaries in service delivery
  • Manage daily operations in the underwriting department
  • Co-ordinate with the underwriting team and intermediaries to identify potential business opportunities

Requirements

  • Fresh graduates ideally from the discipline of Management/Business Studies, Accountancy, Actuarial Science, Engineering or Economics
  • Non-graduate candidates with the relevant experience are also welcome to apply. At least 2 years' relevant experience will be required for the Executive position
  • Holder of BCP/ComGI/PGI certification from SCI (or higher); where required, the Company will provide the necessary support and sponsorship for the certification
  • Job title and compensation will commensurate with the candidate's actual experience and competencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Good stakeholder and client management
  • Team player
