Position: Permit Coordinator (Contract role)

Responsible for handling government approval and permitting procedures throughout the entire real estate development process. The role requires maintaining strong relationships with government authorities to ensure the smooth acquisition of all necessary administrative licenses and to safeguard the timely progress of development plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with the full real estate development cycle, and responsible for managing all approval and permitting procedures, including project initiation, land use planning, engineering planning, construction permits, and pre-sale permits.
  • Prepare, organize, and submit required documents, drawings, and materials for approval; track the progress until relevant licenses and certificates are obtained.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with government agencies such as the Development and Reform Commission, Planning Bureau, Construction Bureau, Fire Department, Civil Defense, and Environmental Protection Bureau.
  • Stay updated on the latest policy and regulatory changes, interpret them accurately, and communicate them promptly within the company.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Cost, Engineering) to support the permitting and approval process.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in permitting/approval work within real estate companies, with proven successful approval experience in Singapore and established government networks.
  • In-depth knowledge of local real estate development procedures and approval requirements.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication, public relations, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
