Key Responsibilities
- Lead presales demos, follow up on leads, build networks, and manage partner/supplier relationships.
- Meet clients to understand needs and concerns.
- Present on behalf of the company at meetings or conferences.
- Handle complaints and perform on-site troubleshooting.
- Prepare quotations and track purchase orders.
- Work with suppliers, vendors, distributors, resellers, and manufacturers on quotes; negotiate pricing.
- Gather customer/prospect feedback and share with internal teams.
- Lead AV initiatives and advise on procurement.
- Review schematic drawings by colleagues.
- Provide planning and layout advice.
- Help procure AV hardware/software; ensure project readiness.
- Plan and track timelines; manage equipment storage and transport.
- Perform rack-and-stack, on-site installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair for AV, networking, and in-house projects at customer sites.
- Do electrical wiring, trunking, programming, and basic setup (ladder use may be required).
- Manage, test, and commission CCTV, ELV (extra-low voltage), Bluetooth, and other devices.
- Complete testing, configuration, staging, and upgrades on schedule.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Attend service calls for equipment faults.
- Provide on-site support and user training.
- Create and update user guides and other documentation.
- Follow up with Finance on costing and billing.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, IT, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in AV presales or systems integration
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to plan timelines, coordinate storage/transport of equipment, track progress, and close projects on schedule.
