IDEMIA is a global leader in identity technologies, serving governments and enterprises worldwide. In our Public Security division, we deliver mission-critical solutions in biometrics, secure systems, and large-scale infrastructure for transportation and border management.

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead solution design and technical strategy for innovation projects. You'll define system architectures that integrate AI, biometrics, and real-time data technologies, ensuring they meet performance, security, and regulatory needs.

This role bridges business goals with technical execution, guiding teams in building scalable, secure, and interoperable systems across cloud and edge environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead solution architecture across border control and identity systems.
  • Translate business and operational needs into secure, scalable technical designs.
  • Lead system integration, infrastructure planning, and data flow design.
  • Support implementation by guiding engineering teams and ensuring alignment.
  • Evaluate new technologies for strategic fit and innovation potential.
  • Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to align with standards and compliance (e.g., ICAO, IATA, GDPR).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in design and implementation of AI solutions, involving areas such as Computer Vision, Large Language Models (LLM), Generative AI or Agentic AI.
  • 7+ years of experience in software/system architecture, including team leadership.
  • Strong background in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API design.
  • Experience in identity, biometrics, or secure access systems.
  • Strong understanding of system security, privacy, and integration at scale.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
