The Sales & Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing exhibitions, while also managing outbound sales or logistics related to the event.
This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategy on acquisition of exhibitors and visitors
- Actively seek out and qualify new leads through various channels
- Identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry partners (associations, societies, trade agencies, etc.) and existing clients are crucial, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving repeat business.
- Oversees and manages all aspects of outbound logistics and operations for, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of event setup and teardown.
- Prepare and present regular reports on outbound performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), operational issues, and areas for improvement.
- Identify and implement improvements to outbound processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Manage the outbound budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with project teams, such as event planning, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless coordination of outbound activities.
Exhibition Management:
- Providing assistance in developing, planning, and executes exhibition
Sales:
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to booth space, sponsorships, or other revenue streams
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Utilize CRM systems to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and maintain accurate customer data
- Submitting timely and accurate sales reports, tracking key metrics, and analyzing data
Project Management:
- Effective communication and collaboration with other team members, including marketing, conference, and operations, are essential for a successful exhibition
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics is important for identifying new opportunities and staying ahead of the competition
- Establishing strong relationships with key industry partners, managing the partners, and ensuring smooth delivery of the projects
- Spearheading assigned key areas and able to work cross-function with the team in delivering the projects
- Managing budgets, tracking revenues and expenses
