Are you ready to take the next big step in your procurement career?
Join us as a Procurement Buyer and play a pivotal role in high-impact projects within our procurement team. This is more than just purchasing — you'll be a key decision-maker in ensuring cost efficiency, supplier excellence, and timely deliveries for mission-critical systems.

You'll work directly with our Project SCM Manager and report in a matrix structure to the Head of Procurement, giving you visibility and influence. This role is perfect for experienced professionals seeking to expand their leadership scope while deepening their expertise in strategic procurement for complex engineering projects.


What You'll Do

Act as project representative for the SCM Division, contribution to procurement strategies from concept to delivery.

Manage total production cost, supplier delivery, and quality performance for assigned systems/buys.

Take ownership of material costing to meet budgetary requirements.

Drive on-time delivery aligned to the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

Partner with the Supplier Quality Team (SQT), QA, and suppliers to ensure top-tier product quality.

Collaborate with Commodity & Competency teams (Fabrication & Vetronics Group) for supplier development.

Work closely with the SCM-MMD group on logistics, warehousing, and material distribution.

Engage designers for eBOM reviews and fabrication drawings to support manufacturing needs.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks to avoid production disruptions.

Manage Purchase Orders (POs) from issuance to payment resolution.

What We're Looking For

Singaporean with passion to contribute in a team matrix

3 - 5 or more years of procurement or supply chain experience with buyer experience. The ideally candidate with Degree in engineering/manufacturing in a Mechanical field. Ability to understand drawing.

Strong negotiation, cost management, and supplier relationship skills.

Proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities.

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a focus on results.
