What you'll do:
As an Equity Derivatives Middle Office Specialist in Singapore, you'll be immersed in supporting the buildout of robust swap and financing reconciliation processes. Your day will be filled with investigating discrepancies in reconciliations while actively seeking ways to enhance operational workflows. You'll connect with various departments to help develop written procedures that streamline back-office functions. By serving as an escalation point for finance operational issues and contributing to team management when needed, you'll help ensure seamless operations in a highly interconnected setting. Your analytical mindset will be invaluable as you review complex datasets to identify areas for improvement. - Play a key role in building out and overseeing swap and financing reconciliations, including swap resets, pay-to-holds, prime broker financing, repo financing, and related activities that keep operations running smoothly.
- Dive into investigating and resolving breaks from daily and monthly reconciliations to ensure financial reporting is accurate and dependable.
- Spot opportunities for process improvement within financial operations and team up with technology partners to bring effective solutions to life.
- Support the ongoing evolution of back-office infrastructure by identifying value-add opportunities that maximise existing systems.
- Help create comprehensive written processes and procedures that boost operational efficiency and clarity for everyone involved.
