The Global Payroll Team's goal is to ensure that all Codan's payroll payments are processed accurately and on time, while in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

The team is responsible for executing the day-to-day payroll operations requirements across multiple countries globally, while also being involved in analysing and initiating strategic projects to continuously improve our processes to enhance efficiency. You will report to the Senior Payroll Manager and will be a key strategic collaborator across the People and Talent team function.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day Payroll service delivery - monthly/semi-monthly payroll delivery, lodgement management, advisory to employees on salary or tax matters
  • Liaise/Coordinate with global payroll partners for timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Ensure data accuracy in our HR system (Rippling)
  • Assist with finance on payroll GL matters and related audit activities
  • Work with the People Operations team on our global payroll transformation initiatives, as well as perform HR Operations related activities for the Singapore entity
Requirements:
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in regional payroll and strong knowledge of local statutory requirements in the region.
  • Experience with end-to-end payroll processing requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly
  • Strong Communication skills to collaborate with the team, partners and stakeholders
  • HR Operations experience is a plus
