Key Responsibilities
- Oversee overall project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations
- Monitor site progress, identify key activities, and expedite workflows to achieve project targets
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties, including consultants and subcontractors/suppliers, ensuring flawless project execution
- Deliver projects according to the agreed timeline, scope, and budget constraints
- Execute projects in compliance with approved plans, drawings, contract specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Manage resource availability and allocation effectively
- Develop detailed plans to monitor and track progress
- Manage and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using proper verification methods
- Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential project risks
- Evaluate project performance using suitable tools and techniques.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle all construction site-related matters, including safety and regulatory compliance
- Provide regular project updates to management
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering/Project Management/Building, recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control for application of Resident Engineer
- Min 8 years of relevant experience as a Contractor, including previous roles as a Project Manager overseeing Institutional, Commercial, or Laboratory projects.
- Min. 8 years of experience in managing design and construction of high-rise buildings of at least 100m height or projects of similar scale and complexity
