About the Company

CS International Singapore (CSIS) is an investment holding company with ownership of property and infrastructure assets in the region. It is the Singapore arm of CS Group, a multinational company with asset holdings in various industries and locations.

About the Role

This role will report directly to the Regional Head in Singapore, and will lead/ manage a team of 3 to 4 which handles the day-to-day finance matters of the company.

The company is in the process of evolving its Finance operations and the Director of Finance will be expected to refine policy and review/ restructure existing processes in order to enhance efficiency. In addition, the Director of Finance will have to lead and organise the team to adopt these changes.

The Director of Finance will also oversee the team and ensure day-to-day finance operations are smooth and well managed. Some elements include:

  • Accounting and preparation of financial statements across the group of companies

  • Payments administration

  • Cash/ liquidity management

  • Intercompany accounts and charges

  • Management of annual audit

  • Regular reporting to management and Board

Flexible work arrangements or part time work can be negotiated if desired.

Qualifications/ experience

  • Min 12 years across the full spectrum of accounting/ finance

  • 3 to 5 years in audit (preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm)

  • Ability to lead a small team

  • Independent thinker who can take initiative and suggest/ drive improvements to existing ways of working
