The Account Manager - Biotech and Genomic Medicine is responsible for growth and expansion of small biotech and genomic medicine customers across ASEAN on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel.
This position reports to the Senior Sales Manager and is part of the Bioprocess and Genomic located in Singapore and will be fully remote.
What you will do:
- Manage and grow strategic accounts within the small biotech and genomic medicine segments. Build and nature strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned countries.
- Identify and engage with new potential customers in the genomic medicine field to expand Cytiva's collaboration network.
- Drive business development initiatives to increase market share and customer engagement.
- Qualify leads, manage the sales funnel, and ensure consistent opportunity progression across all assigned accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and support long-term partnerships.
Who you are:
- A Bachelor's or an advanced degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or equivalent with more than 5-7 years of working experience in sales including strategic selling and negotiation sales is required. Familiarity with Biopharmaceutical, Biotech and Genomic Medicine process.
- Proven experience in account management or business development within the biotech or life sciences industry.
- Strong understanding of genomic medicine trends and customer needs in the ASEAN region.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently across a diverse and dynamic market landscape.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – 40-50 % travel outside Singapore for business trip
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Have experience and understand Genomic Medicine Process workflow very well.
