This role is perfect for someone who thrives on connecting with people and shaping the future of talent acquisition across multiple markets. You will be at the heart of consultant-level hiring, working closely with senior leaders and a dedicated recruiting team to attract and secure exceptional candidates from both business schools and experienced professional backgrounds. The organisation offers a supportive environment where your strategic thinking and operational expertise will be valued, alongside flexible working opportunities and exposure to regional projects. If you are passionate about nurturing talent pipelines, enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, and want to make a meaningful impact on organisational growth, this position offers an outstanding platform for your career.
- Lead consultant-level recruitment efforts across Southeast Asia, partnering with senior stakeholders to shape and execute effective hiring strategies that drive business success.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing recruiting team while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Enjoy flexible working opportunities, ongoing training, and the chance to work in a collaborative environment that values your input and supports your professional development.
What you'll do:
As Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how top-tier talent is identified, engaged, and brought into the organisation across Southeast Asia. Your days will be filled with meaningful interactions-whether you are strategising with senior managers on upcoming hiring needs or guiding your team through complex recruitment cycles. You will have the opportunity to design innovative approaches to sourcing candidates from diverse backgrounds while ensuring each applicant enjoys a positive experience. By managing end-to-end processes from initial outreach through onboarding, you will help set new hires up for success while supporting your team's growth through coaching and mentorship. Your ability to collaborate across functions will be key as you gather insights from data analytics, contribute to impactful presentations, and participate in special projects that further enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Partner with the Senior Manager of Recruiting to develop and implement comprehensive strategies for consultant hiring across both business school graduates and experienced professionals within Southeast Asia.
- Define target talent segments by analysing market trends and identifying innovative ways to expand the candidate pool for current and future needs.
- Proactively identify, engage, and nurture relationships with high-potential passive candidates to build robust talent pipelines for immediate openings as well as long-term organisational growth.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the entire recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation while maintaining close alignment with office leadership and interviewers.
- Oversee the offer extension and closing process in partnership with local office teams to ensure seamless transitions for new hires.
- Champion an outstanding candidate experience at every touchpoint of the recruitment journey by providing timely communication, feedback, and support.
- Manage, coach, and support two direct reports within the Consultant recruiting team by offering day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Collate new hire information efficiently to facilitate smooth onboarding processes and successful integration into the organisation.
- Utilise and update internal candidate tracking systems for accurate data management and event coordination related to recruitment activities.
- Assist with data gathering for recruiting analytics, contribute to office presentations as needed, and participate in broader recruiting initiatives or special projects such as Associate Consultant or Senior Hiring.
What you bring:
To excel as Recruitment Manager in this role, you will bring extensive hands-on experience in talent acquisition within fast-paced environments where attention to detail is matched by your ability to see the bigger picture. Your background should include designing or piloting new methods for engaging candidates-demonstrating not only technical expertise but also creativity in problem-solving. You are known for your warm interpersonal style; colleagues trust you because you listen carefully before offering thoughtful advice or solutions. Managing others comes naturally thanks to your supportive approach: you provide clear direction yet remain approachable when challenges arise. Your comfort with technology ensures that data is always up-to-date while your presentation skills allow you to communicate insights persuasively. Above all else, your commitment to creating positive experiences-for candidates as well as colleagues-sets you apart as someone who truly cares about people's success.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required along with at least eight years of relevant experience in recruiting or talent acquisition within management consulting or similarly high-performance environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design or pilot new approaches in talent acquisition or engagement that reflect thought leadership within the field.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to influence stakeholders at all levels while fostering collaboration across teams and geographies.
- Proven track record of managing direct reports effectively by providing clear guidance, empathetic support, and constructive feedback.
- Strong organisational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for efficient data management and reporting.
- Experience overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing through onboarding while maintaining a focus on delivering excellent candidate experiences.
- Flexibility regarding working hours in order to meet evolving demands of regional recruitment cycles.
- Ability to collate data accurately for reporting purposes as well as contribute meaningfully to presentations or special projects when required.
