About the role

As an Event Professional at Event Venture, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional experiences at our events. This contract position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of events, leveraging your exceptional event management skills to ensure their seamless execution.

What you'll be doing

  1. Curate and conceptualize event ideas.
  2. Identify and pursue opportunities to support external events and partnerships.
  3. Research, prepare, and submit bids for events and tenders (including on GeBIZ and other platforms).
  4. Manage end-to-end event execution, including vendor coordination, logistics, and on-site operations.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  6. Coordinating all logistical aspects of events, from venue selection and vendor management to on-site coordination and post-event reporting
  7. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop engaging event concepts and promotional materials
  8. Overseeing budget management and ensuring events are delivered within allocated budgets
  9. Providing excellent customer service to event attendees, ensuring a positive experience
  10. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during events
  11. Monitoring and analysing event performance data to identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in event management, ideally within the marketing and communications industry
  2. Experience in curating events and looking for opportunities in tendering platforms
  3. Experience in preparing and submitting bids on tendering platforms
  4. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and attendees
  6. Creativity and innovation to develop unique and engaging event concepts
  7. Familiarity with event planning and creative (Capcut, Canva, Adobe) software and technology
  8. A collaborative and problem-solving mindset
