Responsibilites

  • The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing standards development projects under the national standardization programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
  • Provide support to the Safety Standards Committees and its supporting Technical Committees and Working Groups including writing minutes
  • Engage and coordinate with the industry, academia, and government organizations to facilitate the development, promotion, and review of Singapore Standards and Technical References.
  • Organizing key standard launches events and awareness workshops.
  • Responsible for the identification of standards to be developed in consultation with key stakeholders from the industry, the development of standards right up to standard launches.
  • Assist in the industry and technical research for the development of new/review of standards. Conduct verification studies to identify users of the standards.
  • Handle all enquires received promptly regarding the standards under your area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma in Safety
  • Preferably with knowledge of statutory requirements on manufacturing, codes of practice
  • 1 to 3 years of industrial experience is advantageous
  • Results-oriented and able to execute projects in a team and independently.
  • Possess excellent networking, communication, and industry engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools
