Job Scope
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
- Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Providing guidance and support to project teams on safety-related matters
- Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities, to maintain high safety standards
- Maintaining detailed records and reporting on safety performance
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or WSHO in the construction industry
- Registered WSHO is a plus
- LTA/MRT/TUNNEL Project experience is an advantage
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations, including the Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address safety-related issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and stakeholders
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained
