Job Scope

  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Providing guidance and support to project teams on safety-related matters
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities, to maintain high safety standards
  • Maintaining detailed records and reporting on safety performance

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or WSHO in the construction industry
  • Registered WSHO is a plus
  • LTA/MRT/TUNNEL Project experience is an advantage
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations, including the Workplace Safety and Health Act
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address safety-related issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and stakeholders
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained
