Job Description

At K2SD Group, your role extends beyond furniture sourcing — you will also have the opportunity to design custom furniture pieces, crafted to meet the specific needs and refined tastes of our clientele.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Design Furniture with the Design Principal and seek approval with Principal and Client.

·       Understanding the clients' needs and wants and translating them into innovative and creative conceptual designs.

·       Help customers achieve their desired home and space by providing interior styling and decoration advice.

·       Make recommendations tailored to the customer's specific needs (style of home décor, floor plan, etc.).

·       Provide assistance and information regarding the features of the product.

·       Provide proposals, quotations, and design ideas, mood boards, furniture, soft furnishing, wallpaper, sanitaires and accessories to style customers' homes.

·       Deliver furniture and accessories in a timely manner and coordinate on-site delivery and installation.

·       Working closely with the delivery team to resolve customer non-fulfilment issues.

·       Receiving good and Overseeing the installation of FF&E arrangement on site (not including wallpaper or sanitaries work)

·       Establish Customer Relationship Management (CRM) by keeping in touch with customers and informing them of the latest store activities or promotions that may be of interest to them

·       Apply best practices in customer interaction by keeping up to date with furniture trends and industry developments.

·       Inspect the quality of each product, whether purchased online or from a physical retailer.

·       Ensure that the decoration and styling are set up on site.

·       Receiving and taking stock of goods.

·       Work closely with the Project Design Head and report to the Project Lead for the overall concept of the interior and styling.

·       Liaise with online vendors as well as overseas vendors, primarily in China, Vietnam, Italy, etc.

·       Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme

·       Offer new suppliers and vendors that helps to elevate Company's Overall design vision.

·       Able to travel to explore on FF&E.

·       Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned if applicable.

Requirements:

·       Be able to communicate well and write effectively (to provide professional advice and build relationships with clients regarding planning and concept, designs, and material specifications).

·       Good interpersonal skills, team player, and self-motivated.

·       The ideal candidate will be committed to exceeding customer expectations in the areas of customer service and hospitality.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign and/or equal program for the production of drawings, mood boards and presentation material

·       Candidate with experience in renovation for residential/commercial projects is a plus.

·       Presentation skills, Exceptional customer-focus with an emphasis on quality

·       Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment

·       Candidate with Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent is a plus.

·       Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and resolving problems utilising sound judgement and reasoning skills
