Job Description

As a MBA Intern – Strategic Projects at Rapsodo, you will work closely with the CEO to support key initiatives that drive strategic decision-making and improve organizational efficiency. This role is tailored for candidates with an engineering background and prior work experience, offering a unique opportunity to sharpen business acumen, leadership skills, and analytical capabilities in the fast- evolving field of sports analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Support: Collaborate closely with the CEO to assist in the development and execution of key business strategies and initiatives. Your contributions will help shape Rapsodo's direction and growth.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, assess competitive dynamics, and analyze customer needs. Synthesize findings to inform strategic decision-making and business development efforts.
• Performance Assessment: Analyze operational and financial data to evaluate organizational performance. Develop actionable insights and recommendations for improvement that align with company objectives.
• Project Coordination: Support the execution of strategic projects by managing timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders. Your role will be essential in keeping projects on track and meeting key milestones.
• Business Development: Identify and assess potential business opportunities and partnerships. Prepare feasibility studies and business cases that support Rapsodo's growth strategies.
• Communication & Reporting: Prepare and present professional reports and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Your ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights will be critical.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sports analytics and business operations, ensuring that Rapsodo remains at the forefront of innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

• Education: A recent or ongoing graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) from a reputable institution, with a foundational degree in Engineering preferred.
• Experience: Approximately 4-5 years of relevant work experience in engineering, project management, or business analysis, showcasing your ability to apply technical skills in a business context.
• Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex data and conduct rigorous financial analyses. Experience in deriving actionable insights from data is essential.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to think critically and strategically about business challenges, demonstrating a keen understanding of market dynamics and operational efficiency.
• Effective Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating impactful presentations and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools or programming languages is highly desirable.
