Job Description: 

Peak Energy is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Power Sales & marketing team (PS&M) team. As an Intern – Renewable Energy Finance, you will play a crucial role in supporting our investment analysis, project financing, and M&A activities of the platform. This position is ideal for a candidate with a focused background in finance, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities: 

Financial Modelling: 

Support developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models for renewable energy projects and M&A opportunities. Evaluate potential investment opportunities, perform financial analysis, and assist in deal structuring. 

Due Diligence: 

Support due diligence process for investment opportunities, ensuring accurate assessment of risks and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and perform financial analysis. 

Presentation and Reporting: 

Assist preparing IC presentations and internal reporting to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends. 

Qualifications: 

Currently in an undergraduate or post-graduate programme with background in finance/accounting or other related fields. Experience in creating and utilizing financial models, particularly in the renewable sector will be seen favourably, but not mandatory. Proficient in MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in financial modelling and analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills.
