We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at GENG TOK PTE. LTD. in the Geylang Bahru Central Region. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and reporting of the company. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Manage tax filling for corporate tax and GST.
  • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accurate record-keeping
  • Generating financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments as needed

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting.
  • Experience in the commodity trading industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting requirements
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
