Our client is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to provide commercial finance decision support on the performance of their Asia Business Unit. This role will partner closely with commercial leadership to provide financial insights, drive strategic decision-making, and optimise performance across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for monthly reporting to the Corporate FP&A team, regional reporting, forecasts and annual budgets.

What you'll do:

As a Commercial Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of our client's Asia Business Unit. You will work closely with various teams including Sales and Marketing, Corporate Finance, Supply Chain and Demand Planning. Your responsibilities will include everything from consolidation of month-end results to developing annual operating plans. You'll also be tasked with tracking key performance indicators and analyzing profitability by customer, product, and channel. Your expertise in pricing analysis & strategy will be crucial in supporting the development of pricing strategies that maximise profitability. Furthermore, you'll evaluate the financial viability of marketing campaigns and new product proposals. Your role as a trusted advisor will see you providing valuable financial insights that aid in strategic decision-making.

• Business partnering with Regional General Managers, Global FP&A, Supply Chain and commercial FBPs
• Consolidation of month end results , monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Develop and maintain annual operating plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Analyze variances, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary to senior management
• Track key performance indicators , analyze profitability by customer, product, and channel
• Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies, and analysis to optimize pricing decisions and maximize profitability
• Evaluate the financial viability of marketing campaigns , new product proposals and other commercial initiatives
• Act as a trusted advisor to commercial leaders, providing financial insights and support for strategic decision-making.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and support strategic initiatives such as market sizing, competitive analysis, and scenario planning.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management

• High level analytical skills
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task, meet deadlines and commitments.
• High level interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Results driven and demonstrates professional and emotional maturity.
• Commerce/Business Degree with Accounting Qualification
• Minimum 7-8 years in a Commercial Finance manager/Analyst role in the FMCG or alcohol industry with demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Regional/Multi-Country Experience across multiple countries within Asia.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills and the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and provide insightful recommendations.
