  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the PMO, ensuring project portfolios align with business goals and organizational strategy.
  • Define, implement, and continuously enhance PMO frameworks, governance models, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee and track project performance to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Drive effective portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning across multiple project teams.
  • Own P&L accountability for the project portfolio, maximizing value realization from investments.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and insights on project performance, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop PMO Managers, Project Managers, and team members to build a high-performing, future-ready capability.
  • Champion best practices in risk management, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the PMO.
  • Partner with business leaders, clients, and external stakeholders to align expectations, resolve escalations, and drive customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10–12 years of experience in IT Project and Program Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing PMOs or large-scale ICT portfolios.
  • Proven track record in establishing and scaling PMOs with strong governance, methodology, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in P&L ownership, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to influence at executive levels.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to drive decisions in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking, cloud, and security systems, with ability to link technical delivery to business outcomes.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, ITIL v4, PMI-ACP, MSP, or equivalent.
