Singapore BOC Aviation Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Corporate Legal Support

  • Providing corporate legal support to the Company and its subsidiaries, including insurance, data protection, technology, (non-aircraft) procurement and employment matters.
  • Acting as primary legal counsel to the Company's Treasury Department, with expectation to provide both advisory and documentation support in relation to: the Company's Global Medium Term Note Programme; the Company's bank funding arrangements; the Company's foreign exchange and hedging requirements.

Compliance Legal Support

  • Assisting the Corporate Compliance Officer, to monitor and review developing compliance and regulatory trends relevant to the Company.

Corporate Affairs Legal Support

  • Providing legal advisory support to the Company's Head of Corporate Affairs in relation to the Company's corporate governance obligations and requirements, including relevant exchange listing rules.

Projects & Others

  • Adhoc business projects and other tasks as assigned by the General Counsel.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Law with at least 10 years post-qualification experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in banking, financial services or corporate law in a law firm, financial institution or corporation. Candidates with aircraft leasing, financing or sales experience and with a desire to practice in the specified areas of law will be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
  • Meticulous, attention to details while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driven, proactive, diligent and strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Business Mandarin is desirable but not essential.
