- Position Title**:Logistics Assistant (Warehouse)**:
- Working Location: Tuas
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am pm
- Salary Package**:Up to $3,300 + Transportation Allowance + Contract Completion Bonus**:
- Duration: 2-year renewable contract (Convertible to Perm)
**Key Responsibilities**
- Report to the Logistics Supervisor/Officer/Section Manager.
- Store finished goods on the racking system in an organized manner.
- Conduct visual inspection for all incoming and outgoing finished goods for the warehouse.
- Report to the superiors on any defects or abnormalities found.
- Prepare goods for shipment by:
- Scanning the serial number of the drums
- Pasting of shipping mark as per required by the customer
- Prepare the finished goods by placing in the awaiting shipment area
- Carry out loading/unloading of import/export containers and trucks.
- Carry out inspection of import/export containers before and after loading/loading by taking photos of containers and trucks for shipment.
- Ensure proper operation of truck, delivery of finished goods in a safe and timely manner and carry out safety checks and housekeeping for the truck:
- Carry out charging of battery for all equipment
- Refuel the diesel forklift whenever needed
- Inspect forklift prior to usage according to the check sheet
- Drive the truck for transfer of any materials between MPCS premise and off-site warehouses when assigned to do so.
- Deliver finished goods to customer site by truck in a safe and orderly manner when assigned to do so.
- Assist in the delivery and discharge of chemicals, including supporting the physical unloading and loading of chemicals at customer site, when assigned to do so.
- Assist in collection and delivery of empty used containers from customer site back to MPCS warehouse when assigned to do so.
- Conduct proper housekeeping at the warehouse vicinity.
- Conduct traffic control and safety of incoming and outgoing vehicles for shipment and deliveries.
- Drive Prime Mover to conduct, shifting, arrangement, delivery to customer of arrangement of Iso-tankers.
- Provide assistance to production department in unloading of raw materials and containers.
- Adhere to EHS and QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities.
- Perform any other tasks as instructed by the superior.
