P & W Consulting is a fast-growing professional accounting firm committed to delivering exceptional and personalized services to our clients.

The Accounts Executive will ensure compliance with statutory filings, bookkeeping, and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring leadership and technical expertise, helping the firm maintain operational excellence while delivering high-quality financial and regulatory services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management:

  2. Serve as the main point of contact for client queries, delivering exceptional client experiences.

  3. Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and ensuring timely delivery of services.

  4. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  5. Perform bookkeeping, preparing accounts and reports, ensuring alignment with SFRS, ACRA, and IRAS regulations.

  6. Oversee and ensure the accuracy of corporate tax filings, GST submissions, and other regulatory requirements.

  7. Bookkeeping Oversight:

  8. Manage daily bookkeeping activities for Clients, ensuring quality, timeliness, and completeness.

  9. Resolve account discrepancies, manage reconciliations, and support monthly and year-end closing processes.

  10. Workflow Improvement and Process Streamlining:

  11. Leverage technology and accounting software (e.g., Xero and QuickBooks) to streamline bookkeeping and reporting processes.

Requirements

  1. Experience and Qualifications

  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting

  3. Minimum Diploma in Accounting

  4. Technical Skills:

  5. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks will be a plus (training will be provided if necessary).

  6. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance processes.

  7. Soft Skills and Traits:

  8. Client Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client trust and rapport.

  9. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.

  10. Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify workflow challenges and propose practical solutions.

  11. Adaptability: Comfortable with adopting new technologies and improving processes.

  12. Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

  • The position is office-based in Singapore, and clients' accounting records may be required to be obtained physically at clients' office.
