Job Brief

Join our team at ST Engineering Management Services Pte. Ltd. as an Executive in Procurement, where you will play a vital role in managing and facilitating procurement operations within the Ops Procurement function. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will handle various procurement processes, ensuring that we meet our organisational goals while supporting operational efficiency. You will contribute to developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement processes for Ops Procurement projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, conducting thorough assessments to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, promoting a collaborative and effective partnership.

Monitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved procurement practices.

Support contract negotiations, ensuring terms that align with company interests and operational needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver timely procurement solutions.

Prepare and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, providing reports to management as required.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of procurement operations and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in procurement or supply chain management, complemented by excellent analytical and negotiation skills. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to achieving results. Additionally, the following qualifications are required:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.

Strong ability to establish relationships and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.

Interest or background in automotive will be advantageous.
