About the Role

Are you a data-driven problem solver with a passion for transforming raw data into meaningful insights? Join Alpha X Technology, a fast-growing player in the semiconductor industry, as a Power BI Data Analyst.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of digital transformation - leveraging data to drive cost reduction, process optimization, and business growth. You'll collaborate across regional teams to design, develop, and deploy impactful Power BI dashboards and reports that empower decision-making and enhance operational visibility.

What You Will Do


• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations tailored to business needs.

• Gather, analyse, and refine data requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.

• Clean, transform, and model data using Power Query and DAX within Power BI.

• Extract and manage data using SQL and relational databases (RDB).

• Collaborate with end-users to deliver iterative, data-driven solutions in an Agile environment.

• Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Ensure accuracy, performance, and security of data visualizations and datasets.

• Conduct ad hoc analyses and present actionable insights to key stakeholders.

• Document processes and maintain data/report version control in an Agile context.

What You Need to Have


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 1 - 3 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.

• Data engineering experience is an advantage.

• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing KPIs is preferred.

• Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst) is a plus.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

• A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn and adapt.
