Description

The Role

As a Rewards Data Intelligence (RDI) Associate, you will be involved in all aspects of the survey operations, and provision of compensation and benefits data consulting support to clients across various industries.

You will serve as a key support resource for selected industries and be responsible for collecting compensation and benefits data, conducting checks and validation as well as data analysis and reporting by showing mastery in the use of Microsoft Excel and other technology tools.

You will assist the growth and profitability of the RDI practice as a team member for key client groups, support small to medium-sized projects, and be involved in supporting marketing and sales efforts relating to Willis Towers Watson Rewards data & software products and services. This includes standard and bespoke surveys as well as selling and delivering compensation-based project work such as salary structure development, compensation and benefits reviews and conducting pay assessments.

Performance Objectives:

Excellence

  • Build basic understanding and knowledge of firm-wide survey methodologies and processes
  • Develop basic understanding of available WTW products and services
  • Support senior team members to a) research client problems and unmet data needs to identify, develop, and evaluate new product ideas or enhancements to existing products, and b) translate research discoveries into usable and marketable solutions.
  • Identify and follow through on opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics/AI to streamline/optimize internal work processes
  • Continuously develop technical and consulting skills (e.g. selling and project management skills)
  • Serve as a member of an integrated consulting team on small- to medium-scale rewards projects, paying strict adherence to quality project deliverable outcomes to meet client requirements in a timely manner.

People & Clients

  • Serve as a key team member for selected industries by establishing and maintaining close relationships with survey clients
  • Provide basic analysis on trends and insights preparation for client meetings/events.
  • Provide basic research and administrative support on client group presentations or oneto-one meetings.
  • Build strong relationships externally and internally, and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues
  • Support the revenue growth of allocated industry sectors and/or surveys
  • Support business development and account management activities to meet revenue targets
  • Support the development and execution of industry research and business development plans by identifying key target industries, groups, associations, etc.
  • Support proposal development and presentation activities
Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Fresh graduate or with 1-2 year of relevant experience
  • Holds Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline involving significant quantitative course work

    Ability to work in an agile environment with iterative feedback.
  • Able to identify challenges and contribute effectively to solutioning process, think outside the box, and execute ideas.
  • Comfortable with loosely defined requirements where you exercise your analytical skills to collaborate with the rest of the team to build solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize & communicate analysis results to senior team members.
  • Attention to detail with focus on data quality, data consistency, and criticality.
  • Ability to prioritize in a matrixed environment across organizational boundaries.
  • Able to identify and deliver insights and recommendations to support higher-level tactical decisions, including experience in visualizing, presenting and effectively communicating data.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client data and other information interfaced with during the course of employment.
