Job Description

The Fixed Income Structured Solutions team, based in Singapore and Hong Kong, serves as the center of excellence in derivative and fixed income product applications, development and episodic transaction origination across Mizuho's corporate and financial institution franchises. In close partnership with Sales and Trading teams in Pan-Asia Mizuho and with product partners in global Mizuho affiliates, the Structured Solutions team aims to bring innovative transactions and generate new revenue opportunities to the Pan-Asia franchise.

Members of the Structured Solutions team are expected to gain exposure and become fully conversant in various aspects of developing the derivative business, including sales, pricing, XVA, product management, regulatory, legal, technology and other operational aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Learn on the job by getting involved in various transaction pitches, pricing and product development efforts.

  • Help to organize outreach efforts, training and marketing materials to promote the use of structured solutions in Pan-Asia.

  • Help to manage bookings and track performance metrics of the team across different segments.

  • Conduct deep dives and research on a wide range of topics to help with business development efforts.

Role Prerequisites

  • Expected graduation date of December 2025 – June 2026 from a degree qualification, preferably in Economics, Business, or related fields. This position is expected to commence in June 2026.

  • Eligibility to work in Singapore.

  • Prior internship experience in Global Markets a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Curiosity, teamwork and a "can-do" attitude.
