Job Description
Our Fixed Income Trading Internship Program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the Fixed Income department at Mizuho Securities in Singapore. It offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to various products including credit trading, rates, and repo financing. During the internship, you will be paired with seasoned professionals who will guide and help you develop critical skills and knowledge, preparing you for a successful career in finance.
Responsibilities
Work with senior team members to refine pricing and risk management tools
Assist in trade analysis
Learn how the traders price and hedge client flow
Role Prerequisites
Currently in the penultimate year of study of your bachelor's program, preferably in Mathematics, Finance, Science, Engineering or related fields with a quantitative focus. The internship position is expected to commence around May/June 2026.
Eligibility to work in Singapore
Strong programming skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think laterally and process information
Strong interest in financial markets and a desire to learn what underlying factors drive market movements
