The Internship Programme:

We welcome 2026 summer internship applications for all of our global offices (London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo), however the majority of the interns will join our London headquarters. If you are interested in our Tokyo office, please apply via the Tokyo-specific application, which can be found on our careers page.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the industry's best traders who have an excellent, proven track record. You'll be matched with a specific team and will take away with you first-hand experience of working with quantitative traders, developing specific strategies and models that will be put into practice.

The internship typically runs for ten weeks from June to August, however we can be flexible regarding exact dates. At the start of the summer, you will join all other global interns for an 'Intern Orientation Week' in London. Throughout this week you will participate in training and activities that will help prepare you with the skills and knowledge to excel in the internship:

  • Training on financial markets;
  • Trading Simulation game;
  • Presentations from senior stakeholders and managers of front office and support teams; and
  • Social and networking activities including an intern dinner with Senior Portfolio Managers

Your responsibilities as an intern will include:

  • Working closely with Traders, Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Researchers on defined project(s) leading directly to trading decisions;
  • Receiving and participating in training in financial modelling, analysis, research methods and trading strategies;
  • Evaluating market conditions and economic data analysis;
  • Assisting in developing research ideas to support the desk's trading strategies; and
  • Developing tools and reports to aid in trade analysis and identification

The recruitment process is typically as follows:

  • Initial interview(s) with the Talent team
  • Python coding challenge
  • Quantitative interview with a member of the Quantitative Strategy team
  • Final interview with a Senior Trader or Portfolio Manager, and Trading Director

Applications are screened on a rolling basis, so we recommend you apply as early as possible.
