Job Description
1. Project Planning & Scheduling- Develop detailed project schedules, ensuring all phases are properly planned and aligned with project timelines.
- Use project management software to create, monitor, and update project schedules.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to define and manage scope, milestones, and deadlines.
- Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right personnel, equipment, and materials are available when needed.
- Track resource utilization and make adjustments to optimize productivity.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure project costs align with budget forecasts.
- Monitor progress and flag any potential cost overruns or inefficiencies.
- Prepare and review cost estimates and budget allocations for various project stages.
- Identify potential risks to the project schedule and propose strategies to mitigate them.
- Prepare contingency plans and adjust schedules in response to unforeseen delays or complications.
- Track the progress of construction projects, ensuring deadlines and performance standards are met.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, including any issues, delays, or deviations from the plan.
- Review and analyze progress reports and metrics to evaluate project performance.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, architects, and clients, to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
- Organize and attend meetings with various teams to communicate expectations and resolve any issues.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Oversee quality control by ensuring the work adheres to defined standards and specifications.
- Assess and incorporate any changes to the project scope, schedule, or resources.
- Ensure that any changes are properly documented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of planning documents, such as schedules, reports, and resource allocation files.
- Ensure proper documentation for any changes, delays, or approvals throughout the construction project lifecycle.
- Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, construction, and engineering, to ensure the successful execution of the project.
- Provide support and guidance to project teams and assist in the coordination of activities across multiple disciplines.
- Help in the procurement process by preparing schedules and identifying critical milestones related to material delivery and contractor availability.
- Work with the contracts team to monitor the adherence to contractual obligations in terms of time and cost.
Job requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering,
- Minimum 15 years experiences in project programming & planning, preferred with multi-types of projects experiences
- Professional in using planning software e.g., P6, Projects
- Rich experiences in EOT application and negotiation
- English to be as working language
- Good teamwork and communication skill
- To generate BLP for all Projects
- To update the BLP, and analysis on the impact by EOTs
- To train, guide the project scheduler for programmed/schedule/detailed schedule and updates accordingly
- To support project team for EOT application by quoting BLP if needed
- To track on Projects' EOT processing and assist project team for EOT negotiation
