Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations and planning for assigned business unit within APAC region
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, corporate, and financial regulations
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives to support business objectives
  • Lead preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic plans
  • Act as a key advisor to management on financial matters, risks, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand business priorities and key cost drivers
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities
  • Conduct financial analysis and performance reviews to identify variances and improvement areas
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency within financial systems and reports
  • Prepare documentation and schedules for audits, tax reporting, and compliance reviews
  • Contribute to business growth through financial modeling, partnership evaluation, and resource management
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members to promote collaboration and professional development
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Accountancy, Finance or Professional Qualification in ACCA, CPA/ ISCA or equivalent
  • At least 5 - 8 years of financial planning & analysis role, preferably with supervisory experience and from MNC environment
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel skills will be advantageous
